Rashad Basil Young Jr., 25, was performing a wheelie with the dirt bike when he crashed into a black 2024 Genesis in the 5200 block of Spruce Street at 8:16 p.m., police said.

The impact caused Young to become trapped under the Genesis, according to police.

The driver of the Genesis was making a legal turn at the time, an NBC 10 News report states. No arrests were made related to the crash, according to police.

Young was taken to Presbyterian Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 8:57 p.m., police said.

The dirt bike may have been stolen, police told NBC 10. Young had a few run ins with the law in the past, with an October 2019 charge related to carrying a firearm without a license and a guilty plea for a disorderly conduct charge on Thursday, Oct. 24, according to court documents.
